Today we begin introducing the material in Lesson 3.1 We will be into that lesson fully tomorrow (Wednesday).
Per.1: No homework was assigned tonight. I realized too late at the end of the period that you didn't have the proper text pages in your notebooks, students. I apologize for the error. Tomorrow you will get the pages and you can then do this page for minor extra credit (see below for the other two classes):
Per.3 & Per.4: Your homework is p.82 (1-4). Please do your scratch work on notebook paper, not the book, and be ready for tomorrow's warm-ups with the upside-down T.
Our next quiz is Tuesday of next week, 9/15, and it is on Lessons 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, and 2.4 (exponents and scientific notation).
