All of the three concepts in the title above are tied together--basically the same. (Unit rate always has a denominator of 1.)
We are completing Lessons 3.2 and 3.3 by this Friday. The outcome is that students can find the slope (rate of change or unit rate) off of a graph, off of a table, and off an equation. Because this is heavy-duty material, I wanted to use today's class time to present the foundations well. Homework would be counter-productive tonight; no homework was assigned tonight. You can expect it to resume Thursday night (tomorrow).
