Parents, the semester ends this Friday, 12/18. Students were given the results of their Unit 2 test today (they finished last Friday), and they were given updated grade printouts. The parent portal has been updated. Please check it, or ask your student for the printed materials they received today, to be aware of your student's present grade!
We started Unit 3 today with solving two-step equations in one variable. Tonight's worksheet is a photocopy, with p.81 printed at the bottom of the photocopy. Students are to do problems 1-17 from the Written section of this photocopy for homework tonight. (Note, this is not p.81 from the text. Again, it is a photocopy.) They were taught this in seventh grade and we modeled several problems today, which they should have recorded in their homework spiral notebook (or loose leaf paper for tonight's assignment).
